If you spend a lot of time going from room to room manually, we have good news for you. There are a couple of easy ways to get around the office fast.
Teleporting to any room
You can directly teleport to any room on the floor you are on by clicking it in the side panel.
Go-to any user
You can directly go to a specific user by clicking them in the Team Panel and choosing "go-to" or by opening he DM with that user and clicking "go-to" at the top.
This is possible even if the user is on a different floor than you.
Favoriting a room, chat or user
When you favorite a room, chat or user; they will get a special part in the Team Overview for easy access.
There are 2 ways to pin a room. The first way is to go towards the room you would like to favorite.
Click the arrow key next to the 'house' icon in the media controller at the bottom of the page.
Or, you can open the Chat of the room you are in,
click the name of the room at the top of the chat,
then choose 'Favorite' from the settings tab.
You can do the same for any Chat Channel as well.
To favorite a user, simply open a DM with that person and click the 'star' icon at the top of the chatbox.
Home Base
What is a home base?
A home base is a room of your choosing that you will start out each time you open a new session of Kosy (note that Kosy needs to be closed entirely, so leaving kosy open and putting your device in sleep does not count). When you choose a room as your home base, it overrides the starting point and the default floor for you personally. You will always start out in your home base.
We highly recommend to set a room you frequent often, like your own personal office or the co-working space of your team.
You can even set a break room as your home base if this is the room that would save you most time not having to navigate to manually every time.
As soon as you set your home base, you can navigate towards it by clicking the 'house' icon in the media controller.
If a home base is not set, it is grey. If a home base is set successfully, it is white.
Setting home base
After you have favorited the room you would like as your home base, you can now set it as your home base.
Click the arrow next to the 'house' icon in the media controller at the bottom of the page.
Click the '...' icon beside the pinned room you would like to set as your home base.
Then select 'Set room as home base' in the new menu.
