If you are zooming in and you don't see your avatar anywhere, it's possible your screen isn't centered anymore for example because you dragged the floor or something similar.

To fix this, there is a 'target' icon on the left side of the zoom percentage in the top right of the screen. This makes your avatar the center of the screen again.
